Garden Route Tour Port Elizabeth - Cape Town N2 or Route 62

Tour Description

This adventure filled tour is aimed at Conservation Volunteer Students that wish to see more of South Africa whilst travelling from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town. By going as a group of 10 to 12 persons considerable savings can be effected. 

Itinerary

Monday

The tour is offered every fortnight Monday to Monday and departs at 07:00 from the Game Reserve where the Conservation programme was held.

The tour first visits :

• Addo Elephant National Park for 3 hours
• Elephant Back Safari or a River Canoeing Safari

Spend the night in Jeffreys Bay.

Tuesday

After breakfast there are 3 Activity options i.e.

• Beach Horse Riding or,
• Surfing Lessons or,
• Sand Boarding.

After 4pm Students are free to explore Jeffreys Bay and do some shopping at the Billa Bong and other surf shops.

Wednesday

Depart for Tsitsikamma. Activity options are:

• Tree Top Zipline Tours or,
• Bungy Jumping or,
• Black Water Tubing or,
• Kayaking tours.

Sleep over in Tsitsikamma.

Thursday

Depart for Knysna. Along the way stops can be made at at Monkey Land, Birds of Eden or the Reptile Center for snakes, crocodiles and other reptiles. Optional activities include:

• Whale Watching or,
• Diving with Seals.

Sleep over in Mosselbay.

Friday

Activities in Mossel Bay include the following options :

• Great White Shark Cage Diving or,
• Sky Diving.

After this we depart for Hermanus where we sleep over.   

Saturday

Saturday morning is spent Whale Watching whereafter we depart for Cape Town. Weather permitting we will visit Table Mountain to see the sunset.  Sleep over in Cape Town.

Sunday

• Cape Town Peninsula and the Cape of Good Hope Tour in the open Sightseeing Bus
• Afternoon options are a visit to Robben Island or,
• another visit to Table Mountain.
• Simons Town Penquins 

The Tour ends Sunday evening with a group dinner in Camps Bay.

Rates

The rate per person is R14 500. This include road transfer to Cape Town via the N2.  6 Nights B&B accommodation at 3 star establishments. Transfer to Cape Town Airport and all activities.

Please note that due to weather changes the order of the itinerary can be subject t‎o change as well. No refunds will be issued if a particular activity is not done as a result of bad weather or unforseen circumstances beyond any human control. The program is not rule of stone and can be made flexible to accommodate change in plans to suit everyone needs and expectations.
